If this city casts the shadow for the perfect crime it also casts the shadow for the perfect Christmas. Even with all its recent gentrification I still see New York in beautiful black & white with the magic and energy straight out of Miracle on 34th Street . Maybe it’s the romantic in me, but I do stop into St. Patrick’s cathedral, I buy hot chestnuts from the dirty corner man, go ice skating like some fruity hot chocolate drinking lunatic and always love hearing Christmas songs in the shops around town.
